tax/customs COLD STORAGE ROOMS
As regards the tax arrangement whereby goods can be stored,
all the matters explained in connection with the miscellaneous
goods warehouse apply here too.
The warehouse consists of a pre-cold storage room for unloading
goods at controlled temperature, with refrigerating capacity
of -7°C and, and two cold storage rooms with refrigerating
capacity of -30°C:
The pre-cold storage room with refrigerated temperature has
a useful area of 180 sq.m, where about 30 pallets of frozen
food products can be stored.
Every low temperature cold storage room has a storage capacity
of about 300 pallets, with a maximum height of 2.5 m, thanks
to the double tier drive in shelving system.

| The cold storage rooms
can store food products by under authorisation A.S.S. No.2
Isontina code 11BMSoSLMPDFb, all types of frozen meats
under EEC 2834/F mark and single-packed, single-packaged fish
products under EEC 2825 mark.
All products to be introduced in the low temperature cold storage
rooms, must be frozen or deep frozen, and, even if they arrive in
'bulk' packing, they will be palletised by us before being introduced.
Control and health management of the incoming,
stored and outgoing lots, to and from the refrigerated warehouse,
is effected according to the HACCP hygiene vigilance self-control
Plan (Directive No. 93/43/EEC and No.96/3/CE
Furthermore, the traceability of food products
is guaranteed in compliance with CE Regulation No. 178/2002.
To guarantee correct preservation of products,
in addition to the obligatory measuring systems of temperature inside
the cold storage rooms, a self-powered GSM telephone
alarm system is active, and is connected to several recipients
(owner, refrigerator technician, etc.). It comes into operation
in case of a power cut.
Additionally, software is also provided for detecting any
increase in temp inside the cold storage rooms. It informs
the various people involved by the same system.
