The stalls are located in the Border Station of S. Andrea in Gorizia.
Our company can offer all the necessary services in terms of customs and health for horses, cattle and sheep, as specified by the current EU legal regulations.
Four stalls are used as a staying point in conformity with the current regulations on animal well-being, CE Regulation 1225/97, with EU authorisation S.D.A.G. SPA – Gorizia No.CE/08/PS.
Here the animals are unloaded and looked after (foddered and watered) by our personnel accredited at the competent veterinary office and, after the 24 hours specified by the current Directive No.95/29/Ce, they are reloaded on the truck to reach their final destination.
   
The official veterinarian examines the animals and, if they do not have any health problems, s/he certifies their suitability to travel according to the timetable specified by directive 91/628/EEC modified by CE regulation 1225/97.
   
Another four stalls are authorised as "stay stalls" of the regional management of the veterinary service of Friuli Venezia Giulia under company code S.D.A.G. SPA – Gorizia No. 007/GO/088 registered at ASSL2 Isontina.
In this case, for breeding animals only, the final destination on the health certificates must indicate "stay stalls " SDAG SPA Gorizia". Then here the veterinary procedures are performed with the UVAC office of F.V.G., the stay specified by the current regulations on the well-being of animals is effected, and the animals are then reshipped under form 4 issued by S.D.A.G. of Gorizia, to their next destination, which may be a slaughter house or a breeding unit.
In this case the shipment may also be split according to the official health recognition documents issued by the departure veterinarian.
   
In the case of animals originating from non-EU countries, the customs procedures for nationalising the lots are also carried out.
